This site documents the Red Tide, a revolutionary Marxist high school underground newspaper which first appeared at University High School in Los Angeles on November 1, 1971. In December 1974, it united with the Contra Costa Socialist Coalition to become the youth organization of the International Socialists. From 1975-1981, it was based in Detroit.

Maybe I’ll talk our big sister into trying to capture the Free Speech Movement (1967) at Uni as well.
